Responding to growing demand for its Filipino housekeepers, housekeeper / nannies and housekeeper / carers, The Housekeeper Company is now offering its clients flexible, short-term cover. This is proving to be an extremely useful facility for families who need temporary cover when their regular housekeeper visits relatives back home.
Julia Harris, managing director of The Housekeeper Company, explained: “Filipino housekeepers generally return to the Philippines once a year for up to eight weeks – and that can seem like an awfully long time to the family left to cope without their peerless domestic help. Our short-term solutions allow clients seamless cover with the same quality of service that they have come to expect from their permanent housekeeper.”
Caroline Samuels from Hampstead Garden Suburb, London, is mother to eleven-year-old Olivia and eight-year-old Ben. She sought a temporary placement from The Housekeeper Company when her Filipino housekeeper returned home for five weeks.
She explained: “”I have used the Housekeeper Company regularly for temporary cover. Each time they have provided me, both quickly and efficiently, with housekeepers who are suitable for my family’s needs. Each housekeeper has been excellent, fitting into our family quickly, and we have always felt rather sad when they have left.”
